remote?

Recently purchased a slightly used 2011 - 3455SA. The slide/jacks, etc remote was missing. Dealer sent it to us a few days later while we were in the road, with instructions on how to program it from the instructions on the wall behind the battery area in the front storage area. Lights blinked and went off, but nothing reacts to the remote...anyone know if there may be a lock on the remote or something? Remote only #s are LCI and GAMA ELECTRONICS INC.2611. Thanks for any help.

Best I remember we had to keep programming it a few times before it started working.

It may help to try a reboot of the remote circuit board. You can do that by disconnecting the rig battery for a few minutes, reconnect it then do the remote reprogramming routine. Make sure you have good batteries in the remote as well. (To remove the back off the remote, I know ours has a hidden screw beneath the label in the middle of the back). Seems when computers start acting up, rebooting usually helps.

I had to replace the controller, heart of the remote system mounted on the back wall next to the hydraulic pump. I would double check your controller just in case it was swapped out by the previous owner, to ensure compatability.

I had no instructions with our remote, but during the PDI, the tech showed we had to push the on button, then the button above it, which I believe says something like "light" (the unit is in storage). Pushing the On button by itself does not activate our remote.

Very good point, on ours I think there are two buttons, one that says LCI and the other says ON that have to be pressed in sequence to "power up" the remote. Ours has the instructions for the order on the back of the remote.
