Front cap LED light question
Does anybody know where the power and ground wires for the front LED cap lights are, or where they can be accessed? I imagine the top, and two lower side LED strips tie in together at some point and that is where I would like to access them.
I am thinking of replacing the 3 factory LED strips with multi-color changing ones from superbrightleds.com. I know this would entail running a new harness for all three LED strips, a controller, and then hooking it to power. Has anybody done this or just stayed with a single color?

You can look in the area near the pin box for wires running that direction. I would imagine they're in there somewhere. Most likely on the drivers side in the propane compartment is a loom FULL of wires headed up front. The chassis ground could be anywhere, but there's several in the battery/generator compartment.

LED cap lights
check inside the forward closet. There may be an access panel there?

I found mine in the front pass through compartment, drivers side, near water convenience center (or maybe in the battery compartment, drivers side; memory fading). Grounds throughout the trailer are white. IIRC, on my unit the wire to the LED's was WHT/ORG. I would not count on Keystone following a color convention, but it's a start.
I connected mine to the clearance light circuit via a switch; if the switch is on, my LED's come on with the clearance lights. If the switch is off, OEM configuration.

Several months ago, I replaced all the front CAP lights with new multi-colored LED strips from Boogey Lights. Came out perfect and runs via a remote. During this process, I also installed a new 17' awning LED light strip. All the lights turn on with the remote and you can choose whatever color you want, and if you're so inclined, you can choose different patterns, brightness and a whole bunch of other features. The company Boogey Lights was great to work with.

There should be a white LED "pin box" light right above your hitch. A dealer showed me, he pushed the light into the hole and then pulled the grommet out and then the light. The wires will come with it. Then reach into that hole and there will be a continuous wire that is for the front cap lights that land at the converter/inverter right inside your doorway. Go to the Montana website and find the wiring diagram. I forgot if the cap wires are 4 or 5? From there you should be in your way!
