2007 3400rl thermostat

I bought a 2007 Montana 3400RL but there was no thermostat. It is the one with the telephone looking wire and I believe controls both the furnace and AC. I was told that this model was discontinued in 2008. Where can I find one and which one do I get that is just “plug and play”.

If your AC is a Dometic you might call them and find out what is compatable and currently available.

I am pretty sure that year came with a Dometic Comfort Control Center (CCC) 4-Button model thermostat.

In 2004, 2005, and (maybe) 2006 Montana was using a remote control thermostat that was a certified POS. There is a huge Thread here which discussed (and cussed) this beauty. In that Thread was the part numbers for the replacement thermostat CCC 4-Button (which was currently used in newer models.) The replacement included the thermostat and a circuit board in the A/C. Ideally you have the correct circuit board and only need the thermostat.

Here is the 17 page Thread discussion.
https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ead.php?t=8145 Unfortunately, most of the pictures are gone (thanks PhotoBucket and friends) but probably are not needed by you. Part numbers are buried in the discussion. I did see the Thermostat part number and matching A/C board number in the Post #336 on Page 17.
