Unhappy MOTHS

AHHHHHH! (me screaming!)
We haven't used the RV for about 2 months and so I went in to clean up and get ready for our upcoming trip. I opened the closet because I want to see what warm clothes I might need when a few moths flew out. Hugh giant moths. Anyone have any remedies?
And will the solution work immediately? I am not a fan of bugs inside my living spaces.
Thank you.

I’ve used moth balls but the smell will travel thru out the unit. The UP has been fly capital, need a fly swatter. DW is tired of the dish towel being used.

The park we were in had an infestation this spring, but we couldn't keep enough of them in the rig to keep the cats happy. We have three cats and new moths didn't last anytime at all.

The best thing to keep moths out is to keep lights away from the door at night & keep at least the screen door closed as much as possible. Amber lights attract less bugs than a white light but they still attract some bugs. During times of high bug activity, we’ll turn off the “porch” light above the door & place a large citronella candle on a table away from the door, but upwind of the door so that the bugs are attracted to the candle & the citronella wafting past the door helps repel bugs from the door area.
