I have a Champion generator mounted on the rear of my coach (4000 watts) and it does a good job. I don't do a lot of boon docking, but do use it occasionally and like it. Go for it!

I own a 4000W and a 1500W Champion generator. No complaints here.

I have one 2000 they are selling for about a month now haven't run long but tested, conected to our 3400 shut off all breaker and on one at a time will run everything at one time except the coffee pot and microwave must run alone BUT the Micro runs but is short on power won't overload the gen but has dim lights and groans I think I will need two for that. the air 15000 kicks on and starts to start and then overloaads the gen. seem quiet to me. was told to get a diferent starter for the air and it will be easy but still need two I think.

If you want to go bigger I think you can buy a 4000watt for around $350. I got my on sale at Cabelas with a wheel kit for $320. The 4000 is about 58 decibels. You might want to shop around a little unless you're just set on the 2000.

Up here in Southern Wisconsin at Farm & Fleet you can get a 3500/4000 champion for $259.00 with the RV 30 amp plug. It runs my trailer with only one AC (15,000) with no problems.
