Television access
I am thinking of replacing my television, and have been trying to figure out how to remove the old one. I have an 07 Mountaineer with a "built-in" RCA tv in the cabinet. Looks like it may be fastened with screws at the bottom, but I am not sure. Anyone out there have any information on this, before I try taking it out and really messing something up?

dennisl, Not sure of your floorplan or where your TV is, but in my 3400 it was screwed in from the bottom and one screw in the top to keep it from tilting out. Good luck!!!!

Again, not sure of your floorplan, but ours has three screws through the bottom of the shelf the TV sets on going into the TV. Two spaced out on the front, one about half way back.

Mine is a 2980RL, and my Zenith had 2 screws on the bottom and one on the side (under a plastic cap)
easy to do,
Larry

Dennis, we have the same year and model you have. The tv has two screws thru the bottom shelf into it and one screwin the top. You'll need to remove the center speaker, Which has a screw in it from thr top.
