Slide Adjustment 3495 RK
Two of my slides are not extending at the bottom against the gasket/weather strip. Approx 1" to 1 1/2 " about 12" up from the floor. I would like to make the adjustments myself but want to be sure it's done correctly. If you've made these adjustments, feed back would be appreciated. Mobile repair costs are out of sight.
Thanks,
Bill Brown

Bill, If no one comes along who has done the adjustment to the slides you are asking about. MIMF a member of the Forum can probably give you some good advice about the subject. He has always been helpful to members with questions about Lippert slides.
The Lippert booklet that came with our package of stuff I believe gives some simple directions for adjustments. If you have one of those you may be able to figure it out.

I adjusted mint a year ago. Followed the instructions in the manual that Julo mentioned. Not hard to do with a little thought. No special tools needed.

If there is one point to pay close attention to ... let it be this.
The threaded ends of the hydraulic cylinders are attached to the slide via a bracket ... there are two lock nuts on each side of the bracket. DO NOT tighten both these lock nuts tight against the bracket. The cylinders have more stroke than the slide room has travel ... this allows adjustment. Hydraulics are powerful ... if you tighten these up against the bracket, you're going to break something and it's going to be expensive to fix!!!! A side note ... a little adjustment (1/8") goes a long way in adjusting your slides.

I pasted a link for service manuals. Follow link and scroll down to Dewald Hydrulic slide system and open PDF file. It will give you a 36 page manual for operation, maintenance and parts on the Dewwald systems.

Followed the link and you must type in "Dewald parts and service manual" to get to the right page.

Are you saying the 3495 RK has a Dewald slide system?

Most of the Montana slide actuation systems were made by Dewald. Put that info up for any body who wants to service a Dewald system. If they have changed suppliers I am unaware of it.

Bill,
I did get your email and I apologize for not being able to respond to the issue you are having with the 2 slide rooms.
There are a couple of details that I would like to know before I can further help trouble shoot this issue. You talk about a gap of 1 to 1 1/2" about 12" up from the floor. Is this happening at both ends of each room?
Please provide a few details so, that I may be able to assist.
Thanks,
MIMF
