Considering a WeBoost RV
We are planning on some extended time in our rig starting this fall.
We have been blessed with good careers and retired early 59/60. Needing some capability of internet access for some consulting and we're looking at the WeBoost RV Cellular Booster.
Any input? Do they work?
Thanks
Mark

Boosters, such as the Weboost RV, do work for their intended purpose. However, in most cases you will only need one when out very far from a cell tower. Using a booster when signal is good can actually slow down your internet as they only use one input/output antenna and not MIMO (multiple in/multiple out). In most cases, simply using a better antenna with MIMO capabilities would be a better choice.
Have a look at Mobile Internet Resource Center to get a better understanding.

Unless you plan to spend a great deal of time way out in the boonies, or you frequent areas where you are many miles from a cell tower, I wouldn't waste money on it until I was sure I needed it.

Forgot to mention, if you are using a mobile router like the Netgear Nighthawk from AT&T that has external antenna connectors, you can hook them up to your rig's batwing antenna if it is prewired for the Furrion like mine. It is a really decent MIMO antenna. I ordered 2 12" antenna leads from Amazon that have a TS9 connector on one end and the SMA female on the other.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I used command strips to mount the router on wall near the prewire so I could utilize the built in 4g antenna on the rig. I also put in a 12v USB outlet to provide power to the router.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The prewire for the Furrion router already has 12v power run to it, so this mounted on the wall next to it and gives me 2 USB power outlets. All total, the whole thing was less than $30.00.
If you have the Furrion Access pre-wire, this is definitely easiest and cheapest the way to go.

We installed a WeBoost Destination RV based on the good reviews. We tested it in the Campground we were at when it arrived.
I have a 3 year old Samsung Galaxy S10e.
DW has a new Samsung 21 Ultra 5G.
Testing internet on speedtest.net at midnight.
Weboost on:
I have 2 bars and get 3.2Mbps.
She has 2 bars and is getting 25Mbps.
Daytime test 5:00 pm.
WeBoost off:
I get 2 bars and 0.88Mbps
She gets 2 bars and 3.63Mbps
WeBoost on:
I get 2 bars and 2.4Mbps
She gets 4 bars and 40.9Mbps
I have heard of another trick to do with the WeBoost.
If you have a weak indoor antenna ( some models do, not a problem with the WeBoost Destination model, it reaches end to end on our 35' 5er).
Lay a cell phone on top of the inside antenna and make it a wifi Hotspot for the rest of your devices to connect to.

Starting to sound like a lot of trouble for not much if any gain.. Especially now that I can leave my phone in the drawer now.
