Beautiful Day Today
Nothing like 68 degree day, been outside all day watching SEC football and tending to the Boston butt roast on the Pitt Boss sense 8:30 this morning. Aging a few cold ones and just kicking back.

Hey DadsHemi, looks like that bean field across the road got harvested. I hope you got to watch the combine when they picked the beans. Watching the harvest is the most exciting time of the year (in my opinion). It a long day's work for the farmer, but a joyful time for them. No wonder we celebrate Thanksgiving in November, after (most) of the harvests are done! It truly is an exciting time of the year. We all can celebrate.
Glad you had a very enjoyable day, the weather was great, and you had opportunity to relax. These are truly the good days!
We're back home in our driveway for a few weeks, waiting on a repair on the Montana from our local dealership. So, we're kind of staying put for the moment. No future plans for our next excursion, but I think we're looking at January for our next adventure. We're considering Southern Georgia or Southern Alabama. The wife say, if we take on on January 1, 2022, we won't be coming back to Indiana until April.
I'm all for it as I'm pretty certain my retirement date from my job is now going to be December 31 this year.
Enjoy your new location! Glad you could relax and enjoy such a wonderful day!

I always love to see the harvest, corn beans hay. Here where we live we only have small fields. It’s too steep or hilly for large fields or equipment. It’s fine to raise a few cows some hay. What you can’t do anymore is make money farming. When you ride out in a 10 acre hay field with a $150,000 worth of equipment you better not expect to make money.

Dutchman, you should celebrate and come down to Quartzsite for the circling of the Montana’s. Congratulations on retirement.

74 and sunny here in Upstate NY until the downpours started. Last week until we came home, the Adirondacks around the Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain ski area were in beautiful full fall colors and the inevitable leaf peepers were starting to clog the roads at 30mph.

Was a very nice day here in Adairsville Georgia. Used it to remove old slide toppers, clean the top of the slides, and put new ones on. Another RV chore off the list.

I live about 45 min. north of Dave and it's unusual to see 70's in October in that region.
Funny thing is we usually winter about 20 min. south of Curtis in Cartersville however right now we are in SC waiting for our new grand baby to arrive.
It's just funny those two posts would be right next to each other.

Yep beautiful days here to. I can set in my easy chair look out our sliding glass door and about three miles due east and watch fall creep down the mountain from day to day. The color starts slow at the top of the mountain and slowly inches to the bottom. In the spring it’s the reverse. Old man winter is on the way.
