I have seen these also mentioned and have not heard anything bad about them. just as an added choice.

After weighing our 2980RL I installed LT tires on our Monty. I agree with comments of Lynwood as to LT tires are working good on our unit. After three years of service with no problems I am pleased with having installed LT tires. G 614's are great quality tires but my weights nor my rims just did not warrant the 614's. Some rvers have expressed negative remarks using a LT tire on a fifth wheel. Bottom line get the tires which will give good service to your unit using your weight info. I have to say over the years on the road I have witnessed too many ST blowouts on side of roadway.

LT tires are better choice. We have run LT tires trouble free for ten years, no problems. Would certainly like to hear the rationale for ST over LT tires??

Found them at a local dealer in stock for $306 each mounted and balanced. Getting them this week. Thanks for all the information.

Mike I ran LT tires on our 2980 also because like you said the weight did not warrant the 614 and also the rims would not have handled the 614's since they were 80 lb rims. The newer 3582 we have already had the 110 lb rims and when I saw what came on it from the factory I immediately told the dealer I would not accept the tires and wanted G614's put on the unit. Have had not problems with them and they still look like new after about 15000 miles on them.
