OEM Tires?
Came down I-44 thru OK TO I-40 today. Almost stopped to help a Montana who's tire totally disintegrated, but as I was pulling over it became apparent he'd already changed it and didn't need the help. Less than 20 miles later I passed an Open Range with a totally disintegrated tire, but there wasn't a safe place for me to pull over so I didn't talk to either driver. Both tires were totaled, any bets on whether or not they came on the trailers?

Most people just don't know. As I found out you can't tell them. They think they have great tires on their camper from the factory. Oh well what do you do?

... and not likely to be as quickly forgotten. Only goes to prove that if you're lucky enough to get older, you may also get lucky and get wiser.

Did I-44 from Joplin to Wichita Falls last week. Glad we have G614's, just wish we had the Mor ryde IS. That road should be shut down until it is made safe. They are definitely not using the tolls collected for maintenance. Have a few things in the rig I need to repair after that run, but will never make that run again.

[ Just a thought after reading your post! Is there aa section on our forum that lists bad roads so when someone travels they can just check out the list instead of having to search for the info? I don't think I have ever seen one! I guess not having one could get us to converse more and become more of a "family"! /quote]

IS isn't that big a help with some of those holes.

We went out west that way this summer but avoided I-44 on the return trip. Had to wait until California to find another road that bad.
