I just finished the dreaded task. I used 3M Marine Protective Liquid Wax....around $8.95 at Wal-Mart. It took about 24 oz. Goes on and comes off easily, retards UV light damage. I was impressed with how much it seem to clean the 2955RL. The end caps shine like a new silver dollar while the sides look whiter with a bit less shine than what I hoped for. Plan on using the zip-wax when washing in the future in hopes of keeping the shine.
