Hi Snowman8wa:

Our DH eliminates moisture through-out our 2955. We have dry closets and cupboards. Only need to use it for a short time during those cool mornings when moisture is present on the lower part of the window. We also keep the bedroom vent cracked open. We also use a small ceramic heater on cold and or damp days to maintain the temp. we want. On cool mornings (0C or lower) we fire up the propane furnace to warm the rig up first, then maintain it with the little ceramic heater. Works great for us!

We had a very cool, damp summer last year in Maine and had a problem with moisture in closets and corners. Luckily, before we bought a dehumidifier, we saw in the instructions to our furnace that it has a dry air setting. It does a wonderful job of dehumidifying the whole RV.
