We have stayed at Rivers Edge http://riversendcampgroundga.com/ on Tybee Island and enjoyed it.

A very quiet spot is the Hardeeville RV Resort (or park) in Hardeeville, SC. It is a NO FRILLS park and there are trees that need to be negotiated, but I had not problem. You can ask for an open spot and run satellite in the open spot, if the have them. Again, this is a no frills park. No showers, no pool, etc., but it is Passport America.
It is 9 miles from downtown Savannah. We would stay there again.

One of our favorites is about an hour north of Savannah, outside Beaufort, SC. It's called Hunting Island State Park. Great sites, both on the ocean and off. Ocean front sites have 30 AMP, sites in the interior have 50 AMP, but are only a short walk to the fabulous beach. Been there twice now, and have reservations for trip number 3!

We've stayed at both Skidaway Island SP and Hardeeville RV Park. Skidaway has water & electric only, with bad cable TV, but beautiful surroundings. Hardeeville has full hookups, no frills and best of all - Dave & Betsy (exnavydiver & labmom)!
