Budget/Expense worksheet

I am interested in finding a worksheet or Mac compatible program to keep track of my daily expenses. Thanks

I use Excel. Pretty easy to use and you can customize it anyway you want.

I also use Excel and find it easy to use.
But it would also be nice to have a custom worksheet just for that purpose where you could categorize all the expenses and easily look at individual totals for fuel, site rental, food, etc. I know you can do it in Excel by using different columns for each type expense. Maybe there is a better way.

I also use Excel. We can track our site rent, electric, propane, fuel, etc. Then average for the year, etc. Just for giggles I took the GPS report and also include the high and low elevations, average speed and miles from that report. I do a new spreadsheet each year and have a place to bring the miles forward from the previous years. I am only tracking Monty miles on the spreadsheet since the truck tells us its miles. Besides valuable information it helps to remember where we were on a particular date since the spreadsheet also has the date and city/state. You could also include a comment about the campground except I have no trouble remembering the bad ones!
Happy trails.........................

Maybe one of you folks who use Excel would share the shell of your spreadsheet with us...?

Send me an email so I have your email address and I'll send you my Master to play with. We cannot attach files when emailing through the MOC.

We have been using Quicken Deluxe for years to track expenses, check book, etc. You can categorize every expense and it does all kinds of nifty charts and graphs for you.

We really do not do in depth budget planning or expense tracking. We take pictures of everywhere we go and some day when we are in nursing homes we will sort them out if we can remember who we are.

I use Quicken and it is as nice as what Rich said. I also enjoy playing with excel spread sheets a little but I don’t have anything fixed up that elaborate. If a person had the time one could learn fairly easily with a little patience.

I use Quicken and speadsheets. But I also have a program called RV Notebook. I forget where I bought it. It has many sections. Examples, tracking mileage, times, costs of trips; addresses; expenses; servicing of rig/vehicles; weights; campground info; calendar and lots of other stuff.

I don't use anything because I don't want to know! Too much info is sometime troublesome! Seriously, I have built a spread sheet but I'm not disciplined enough to maintain it.

Another Excel user here, but because I change mine month to month, it's not something I could pass along to someone and have it do them much good.
