Rocky Mountain National Park
Stayed in Moraine Park Campground a cople weeks ago. RMNP is a mountain paradise, very beautiful! There are several sites available that will accomodate long RV's, but you definitely need to reserve early. We mad reservations in early June for late August, and they were filling up as I was making reservations.
For $20, you get nothing more than a level place to park, fire pit, picnic table, and bear warnings. But they are very quiet and peaceful sites, and it's just a five minute walk over the hill to watch the elk browse and feed in the morning or evening.
And it beats paying $50 for a full boat site in the crowded RV parks in Estes Park!
Didn't try to fit into the dump station though - that looked like alot of work!
