Sebastian Inlet, Florida

Here is a web site to check and see our Sebastian Inlet. www.sebastianinletdistrict.com
Immediately to the south of the inlet is the Sebastian Inlet State Park, there are camping facilities there with water, electricity and a dump station. It is very nice, the sites are level and nicely spaced. Some of the slots overlook the sebastian Inlet. To the north of the inlet a short distance is Long Point Park, operated by Brevard County Parks and recreation. Many riverfront slots most with access for your boat, they overlook the Indian River (Intracoastal waterway). The riverfront slots have electricity and water (some 50 and some 30amp) there are some full service slots that are also nice but they are not watefront. A short bicycle hop to the ocean at either park. It was a little cool today 79 degrees.

Just some info about Sebastian Inlet. Just south of the park there is a small museum on the ocean side of the highway. It is the site where survivors of the Spanish fleet came ashore after being destroyed by a hurricane. Very interesting with many artifacts. If I remember the admission was just a small donation.
Check it out.

More information especially for the Navy folks, further south on A1A (not too far) is the Navy Seal Museum, I understand that it has been designated as an Official Seal Museum. We have been to both museums and they are very impressive.
