Fort Robinson State Park - Nebraska

What a pleasant surprise to find such a great campground. North West Corner of Nebraska about 120 miles from the Black Hills. This Park can fit anything you have. Any Montana, pop-up, tent, horse trailer or Teton pulled by a Peterbilt and towing a toad behind. There is so much to do here that I am amazed. I am posting a lot of this on my blog so if you are coming to the area, check it out.

While you are Ft. Robinson don't forget to take a jeep ride. Great fun and very interesting. Well worth the coin.

Glad you found this area--I grew up near there and so many people are surprised that there is such beautiful scenery and so many things to do there. There is a really neat museum of the Fur Trade east of Chadron too that people should go to see.

Well the 107 degrees made us do most things inside of air conditioning but we did a real lot. Even hiked some at the National Landmarks. Phew, was it hot but it was an area that we sure enjoyed. Until this trip, Nebraska has only been seen from I-80 east to west or Hwy 81 north to south. It was nice to stop and smell the roses.

We are now in Casper, WY visiting with siblings. Tomorrow we will try to check out Sheridan. Anything special we should know about?
