For those of you who do not have a stick home, and therefore homeowner's insurance, how and with whom do you insure your valuables?

I'm in the process of getting a quote from Explorer's RV for these additional items. But, did you have to get appraisals of your jewelry? Do you value your items at depreciated values or replacement?

We didn't get an appraisal because we have nothing of real value in that regard. The only valuables we have are our computers and peripherals. We are insured for nominal household items with up to $8,000 value. Also, it is through Explorer RV.
