Try them on your shower also - the glass part. Rub the dryer sheet over the glass, no need to rub hard. Rinse and dry.
Happy trails..........................

Been using dryer sheets for a long time on them love bugs and all the other insects that accumulate on Monty's nose and they don't have to be new ones as used sheets will work also.

Garin1,
I tried this as well this weekend and I was shocked how well it worked. Has anyone tried them on their TV too? Lovebugs are something we don't have to worry about in CO but there are bugs and they are hard to get off normally.
Thanks for this original tip, I can't remember the thread but what a great solution to an old problem.

In praise of BOUNCE - it works on the TV too! I'm in Tallahassee and had a years worth of old bugs as well as a trip from WI on the front of the Montana - boy did the bounce ever work! cleaned the bugs with little effort. It does not remove leaf stains or streaks -but then the plan was to get rid of bugs.
ALSO - the Awsome cleaner from the Dollar store works wery well too.

Question.... If a person uses these little rags do you wet them or use them dry, I tried them and and got no results from them. I wet mine, so was I using them wrong?

I keep a box of dryer sheets in the "basement." TT2, just hose down/wet the nose/cap and use the sheets like a wash cloth. You'll love it. I usually stand on the tailgate and the job is done in 10 minutes or so!

Thanks, so you just wet the cap and use the rag dry and the moisture on the cap is enugh. I'll try it that way.

The dryer sheets must be used wetwith clear water. At least that is how I do and it works great but leaves a film that must be rinsed off.

In our part of the world there is a very heavy dew in the early mornings especially during the warm months. As the bugs have soaked over night, I get up early and use the dryer sheets...removing the bugs is very easy, then rinse off with the hose.
