Heating 2005 Montana 2980

We just sold our house in southern California high desert, and we are living in our RV full time now. We just bought an RV resort lot in Apple Valley. I still have another 7 years of work ahead of me before I can retire.

The problem is that our heater which has the remote for the A/C and heater together. We set the thermstat at 74 degrees when the heater shuts off our room thermostat shows it to actually around 65 degrees, the RV seems to cool down quickly. Are we loosing our heat through the slide seals?

I'll appriceate any feed back

Thanks
Bob

Please do a search on remote thermostat. It is the longest post ever here on the forum. You will read about the problem with the remote thermostat and how we all solved the problem with the help of Dometic.
Happy trails.........................
