Howdy from Texas

Hi, we just traded our 03 Alpenlite 5th wheel for a hardly used 06 Montana 3000RK. We loved our Alpie but wanted more room. The Montana has the same layout but is 4 ft longer and the way is it setup gives us more room. We looked for a long time because we did not want just a "camper". I am retired Verizon cable splicer and volunteer fire fighter. We live in central Texas, so we RV all year long.

Welcome to the MOC forum. We're from Austin, although for the last 9 years we've lived in Montana (what's wrong with THAT picture?) Beginning in June, however, we're moving back to Texas and will be working as volunteer camp hosts at the LCRA "Matagorda Bay Nature Center RV Park" in Matagorda, Texas, right at the mouth of the Colorado River where it meets the beach at the Gulf of Mexico. If you're on the move between June and next January, come stay at the park and introduce yourselves!

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Texan (now misplaced to North Carolina). Some mighty good RVing possible just about anywhere you go, north or south, east or west. Enjoy yourselves.
