What?! Again? Michelin tire separation
I posted a Michelin tire problem with pictures some time ago.
Well, guess what? It happened again. Another Michelin LTX M/S2 had tire separation. But I noticed it so fast, the tire did not look as bad as the first time this happened.
Going for another free replacement tomorrow (running on the spare now and have no spare until the tire is replaced.
Can anyone add any bad experience on this tire. Is it just a bad lot, or should I finally leave Michelin for another brand?
I did notice outside wear on the fronts and had the wheel alignment done, but things looked good and the techs didn't see anything broken or terribly out of whack.
I would imagine that a severe alignment could cause a tire to fail, but I would think tire separation is more manufacturer fault than not. Opinions of others? LonnieB, can you add any concerns at your store that you've seen?
