Great customer service by American tires
They Replaced all 4 of my G614's today. They said They were seperating on the inside tread Dot # 40-2010 I had bought there road Hazzard Warranty, but they called Goodyear and they said OK so Kuddo's to them too. Made me very happy. But here is the Question Why did they do it. "History "I had new wet bolts put on in early 2010 after going through 1 blow out and tread seperation on 4 other e-rated tires. The axles were out of allignment due to the worn bushings. Purchased the new G614 tires, everything was checked for allignment and I was good to go. I started to notice inside and outside wear at about 8,000 miles. At about 15,000 the back spring hangers broke off on each side same time. Turning stress caused it and bad design by Keystone. I don't know, but maybe the hangers bent and the axel moved the allignment. Maybe this was the reason for wear, but I think they just broke suddenly. So I fixed them and rienforced them all.Allignment was checked again Camber and Axles Spot on Perfect.Had the tires rotated and put on another 2000 miles before they became unsafe. Once a tire starts to wear it will continue, even if you rotate them, I have been told. Any way new tires are on all has been checked and and I am still looking for a common since answer to all are issues on tire wear. And not tire presure most all of us are well aware of that.I am hoping for the best now on these new tires Dot is 42 week of 2012.If these wear excessively then I am Stumped!

From what I have learned, inside and outside wear on all 4 tires is not caused by anything on the trailer.
There is no reason the new tires will not do the very same thing. Mine did it with 4500, probably 3500 miles on them, I changed them out at 4500 miles, but the wear showed at 3500.
My opinion is the design and rubber compound of the Goodyear tires. Treadit stated the same. (Jennifer at Treadit)
She said "The unique design of the Goodyear tires" or close to the quote..I have it. Been a long day in the Wilderness area..

I thought unique designs were supposed to be an improvement?
