Lake Medina 1000 Trails

Site R51, Will be here at least 3 weeks and possibly more. May move back and forth between Colorado Lake (halfway between San Antonio and Houston) and here every 3 weeks or so. Will have to wait and see.

Pretty wet today looks like clearing the rest of the week. San Antonio is where Cathy and I met and got married 40 years ago and our second son was born here. Many firsts for us in SA. Looking forward to our stay......

Love the place. When we were there the deer were quite comfortable. Hearing that a lot of Texas is deer hunting country I was puzzled why the deer had no fear of us. According to a staffer they said the deer in the area are protected and he thinks the deer know that.

Definitely a lot of Venison. They sure have a good time also. I'm told they hunt them around here because they become a major road hazard. A little smaller than the muelles and moose I'm used to. But they all taste good. Did I say that???? Shut my mouth and pass the hot sauce!!!!!

Tom, It is in the boonies, but nice to be away from all the road noise for a change. They have a lot of activities for us throughout the winter!!!
