Our Cambridge had it stamped on the Lug nut. When I ordered our Alcoa Aluminum wheels the service person in Dallas told us about the location and the only other size that was available was 1/2 inch ours were 9/16 inch. We had two of the Tredit wheels crack. Just got a e-mail from friends who have a Cambridge and had cracked wheels also. They now have 4 new Alcoa Aluminum wheels. I have no faith in the Tredit wheels. They are made in different foreign countrys. Alcoa's are american made. It hard to find American made thing anymore. Good Luck.... GBY...

On my 2006 3400RL, thanks to Lindy's info, I found where the lug nuts are stamped 1/2". I, too, went to ALCOA wheels.

BTW, Lindy, what size inserts did you purchase for the wheels to accomodate the hub grease fittings? When I ordered the wheels, they did not come with the center inserts.

I'm using the Alcoa inserts, ordered them when I ordered the wheels. Good Luck, the Alcoa's look much better than the wheels that came with the 5er. GBY....

Lindy, what I would like to know is what size Alcoa inserts you have. I'm not sure what I need to order. Thanks in advance.

I've seen a display at auto supply stores made up of lug bolts so one could take a lug nut in and screw it on the samples to identify what they have.

Where are you guys finding the cracks in the Tredit wheels?
Our '05 3500 has aluminum wheels. Were Tredit the wheel used for the 05?
I've got a couple of tires that have slow leaks so I guess I better give the wheels a good inspection.

HI,
New to 5th wheels. Picked up our 2007 Montana 2955RL two weeks ago.
The manual says the Lug Nuts are 7/8, which a 7/8 socket fits, but I find the 22mm fits even better.
Anyone else find this?

snfexpress, Call Southwest wheel co. Dallas Tx. And tell them what type Alcoa wheel you have and they will help determine what size center piece you need. Or go to www.southwestwheel.com and find the type of wheel you have and just write down the number. When I ordered my Alcoa's I just told them I want the center piece's and the lug nuts also. Good Luck.... GBY....

Everyone should check you Tredit Aluminum wheels, for sure if you have a slow leak....
