Is There a 10th Anniversary Big Sky?

The new 10th anniversary Montana looks great. Is there a 10th anniversary Big Sky also? I thought they might add the rear bicycle rack this year. I'm a little disappointed.

We saw one at Sun Coast in JAX last week. The REAL Corian counters look great and it really upsets me off that we bought a 08 Big Sky and two months later they come out with a new version of the same model with all those new options but the new ones look great... Dave and Betsy

Don't let that stuff bug you Dave - or you will go crazy. It never stops. It's like buying a new computer or truck.

I have determined that the "best" time to buy to get the most recent changes - good or bad - is after January, not in the fall when the model year changes. The changes actually happen midyear.

I agree, made no difference when I bought something. The next day there is always a better mousetrap.

I purchased a 2007 instead of a 2008 because the only difference was a cubby hole above the microwave and I have the old style couch/bed. Its always a give and take.

Well, the Milwaukee show is next weekend. Maybe they will have one there. After the rally, I sure thought they would have a rear hitch for a bicycle rack. That's a major disappointment for me.

Ron, a recent conversation with Aram thru Rich was that Montana will not offer the hitch yet. But, he also said to go ahead and install one, FOR bicycles only, and he said it won't affect your warranty.
Dealer here said cost was $250/500, depending on time involved. thinking about getting it done this spring. Cheaper than a new 5er anyhow!

Bike rack is from $75.00 to 500.00 as i spent the $75.00 on iron and welding and added my own bike rack later . its not a big deal but the rack i saw on a monta could not carry 2 bikes down the highway and hit a set of rr tracks and it all will be on the ground john

john, the one we saw at the rally in Goshen last September was not any shabby creation. It was a well built
oops, sorry, you said rack, that's a big difference now when you refer to a rack. That shabby rack could have been attached to any camper, but the post was about hitches. The hitch was well manufactured and installed. A real neat option that Keystone just hasn't made up their minds if they want to offer yet!
Bike racks can vary in style and cost, but the hitch will cost a little more to have a dealer build and install.

I already have a nice 4 bike Yakima rack with locks. It's in search of a 2" receiver. I was hoping that a new Monty would want to mate with my Yakima. Guess I will need to find a surrogate. Steve, are you and Patty home at the present or on the road? Hope all is well.
