heat registers

I was wondering if you can change the heat register to the style that you can close off, if this would "force" more air to the front bedroom area. We have 2 in the living area and it gets way to warm and the bedroom is very cold. I was hoping by changing 1 of the register in the living area it may help with the cold bedroom problem.

Changed mine out with designer registers from Lowes. Look great at about $10 each and they do close. Had brushed brass in the old Big Sky and peuter in the new one,

Throw a small rug over the register. Works for me.

Lowes & Home Depot have the metal or plastic rectangular adjustable registers.

The following place has round plastic adjustable registers for the toilet room. This is the website: http://tinyurl.com/yu5tow

They work for us. The bedroom doesn't get as warm as it used to get.
