Furnace won’t Start

Hi
I have a 2016 Keystone 3710FL. I just purchased it used and everything is perfect. The A/C works perfectly fine, when I switched to Furnace the Furnace motor should’ve started but nothing is happening.
I checked the following:
Fuse
Circuit breakers
Opened up Outside cover to see if there are fuses and found a 5 amp fuse that’s good.
Seems to me I’m not getting power to the Furnace Motor.
Any Tips??

Don't know about the newer units but on mine there is a on/off rocker switch on the top of the furnace. I have to remove the back wall of the basement to expose the furnace. I'm sure you know this but make sure the set point on the thermostat is above the temperature inside the 5'er by several degrees. Some on this forum have reported their thermostats to be off by seven or eight degrees.

Thank You for the quick reply! I’ll check both of your suggestions.

Thermostat

You might try resetting your thermostat
On my thermostat I hold the power button and the up arrow simultaneously for about 3 seconds the screen will display - - then try selecting the furnace in your thermostat

Make sure system is off before resetting thermostat

Hard to know where to start.

  • Do you have a Dometic TStat? They can be wonky so it could be the problem
  • The Furnace is a 12v system. Do you have a multimeter to see of there is any power actually being sent to the furnace when the TStat is set? If you know which wires to check you can also bypass the TStat and touch 12v wires directly from a battery to see if it comes alive. Don't try to run it that way but then you would know that the furnace wants to work when power is supplied. That would point you back to a faulty TStat.
Just a couple initial thoughts

Mine has a off/reset switch right when you take the cover off. Might check that also.
