Electrical Problem-Update!

Hello All,

As an update to our post regarding the surge guard issue, we found the problem! The dealer brought it our attention that it is very common for the wires in the shore cord plug at the trailer to come loose. We took it apart and whala, the black and red wires were completely loose. We reconnected all the wires so they are snug in their place and we have power to the trailer and the surge guard is working just fine.

Thought we would pass this info on in case anyone has similar problems. We trusted our voltage meter which told us we had power!!!! Sure fooled us! They must have come loose when we disconnected at the campsite because we were fine all weekend long!

Thanks again for your suggestions....

Sue & Harv

Sue and Harv -

Always good when it's something simple. But those can be the most frustrating. Glad it worked out.

We had one melt down at a state park and had to make a run into the nearest town. We went 2 places before I found one. Now I have a spare in my "emergency kit".
