Wow... I thought you were old , but I only graduated 10 years later. I got the invite but I'm skipping my 40th. Congrats on your 50th high school graduation anniversary.

The only thing about those HS reunions is that those other folks got old and gray.

I grew up on the south side of Chicago. No one in their right mind goes back there for any reason.

I just missed my 55th last May. Granddaughter's graduation was at same time in another city. First one I've missed. Understand we've lost quite a few since 50th.

We just had our 50th but I decided not to go. I thought I would feel bad about missing it but I don't feel that way. The real friends I had in high school I still have and we still stay in touch and get together a couple of times a year. Our class had over 500 grads in it and from what I have been told most didn't go. So I
guess I saved a lot of money by staying home as most of the people I would have wanted to see didn't go either. Maybe the 60th will be better. Hook, I'm happy you
had a great time that's the most important part of this message.

My 50th is next year. Am planning on going. We only had about 135 in our class so everyone knew everyone. But have lost a couple of closest friends from that class that I rarely saw since our 45th. And most of the others that were close friends I still see fairly often. So not as excited about it as in the past. But will probably still go just to see how old everyone else has gotten.
Have noticed over the years that the social and economic cliques that once existed have more or less evaporated.
