kitchen faucet
I need a little advise on this one. My kitchen faucet no longer swivels to the right. It feels like it hits a stop or something. I checked under the cabinet an there is only a tube that holds all of the water lines that go to the faucet and I can't see anything that is suppose to move under there. It swivels to the left with no problems. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

May have to take it apart from the top. Not sure the kind you have. Probably has a oring in there that is binding. Get some silacone lube and put it on and all should be good.

I found out what was stopping it from swiveling. I started to take it apart from the top and a screw fell out. I wasn't able to get it apart the rest of the way to replace the screw, but it swivels now. The next issue is how to get it apart all the way and replace the screw. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

By your description in your first post, you have a single center control handle. Without a pic, that's the best I can use for "seeing" it. Does the screw have a head, or is it a recessed allen? I would say shut off water, disconnect supply lines and remove faucet from under sink...there is probably a single, large nut holding the whole assembly in. Once removed, you can look and find the missing "hole" for the screw. My guess, it's a set screw and you'll find it's home right under the top cover plate. Hope this helps.

Don, Did the screw fall out the top or the bottom when you started to disassemble the faucet? If you post a picture of your faucet perhaps we can be more help. Short of that Wild Horse is right on. I replaced the faucet on our 2006 and the old one was pretty easy to remove except the contorsions you had to get your body in to lay on your back under the sink. Jim

The screw has a head on it and it did fall out after I had the top of the unit coming apart, but couldn't get it the rest of the way apart. It is a single type control for both hot and cold. Not really good with computer stuff so pictures are not something I can do.

I just got fed up with the original, cheep faucet.
Changed it out with a faucet that my wife picked out.
She uses the sink the most, so that is why I put in a faucet that she likes.
It has a long pipe with at 80 degree turn, the head comes out with a change from regular to spray.
Also this summer changed the bathroom sink and faucet.
