3230CK Mods
I have solved two issues on our new Montana that I failed to address in the past - light in the front basement and a place to store my sewer hose (Waste Master). I used a piece of 4” pvc as an extension to the factory sewer tube with a bungee. For the lighting, adhesive strip lighting, a 6 circuit 12v bus and a surface mount toggle switch.
Here are some photos:

Ron: for some reason the picture won't expand. I am interested in the sewer hose extension. Will you post a picture of that which can be blown up?

Carl, I got a piece of PVC and cut it to make the end with the valve even with the end of the frame. I already had a short sewer hose container that came on the unit. I just took the cap off and slid the new PVC in the lip. I drilled two holes large enough to get my socket through with an extension and a small hole for the self tapping screw 180 degrees from the large hole in the new PVC. I put some putty in the socket to hold the screw snug while I drilled the self tapping screw. Then I used the blue bungee to hold it snug. We seldom hook up, usually dump right before we leave somewhere, so it’s handy when I do dump. It cost $17 total for this project, I had the two screws and the bungee. Hope this helps.

That bungee reminds me of a mindless brain game we play on long drives. We count how many sewer hoses vs. how many air conditioner covers we see along the side of the road. Usually there are more sewer hoses.
