Touch up paint
I'm really having trouble finding any touch up paint for our 3791Rd. I have the color (Oyster) and the paint code (Sikkens 8350), but cant find any to buy. I have checked with Keystone, body shops that work on RV's, Montana dealers and searched on line. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to find any touch up paint? If so, where? Thanks!

A auto body shop should be able to match the paint. MOC member here just removed a corner plate and took it to a body shop for a perfect match.

A Camping World with a collision center can do the same thing. They matched our Big Sky perfectly.

I found an excellent match. BFM ford Wimbledon white. (m, 9A) replaces DSFM 41/T205. Duplicate color also sells, either paint or spray

Sikkens is a marine paint. Try looking at marine paint shops, west marine, hamilton, etc. You will probably have to buy a quart or so. John

I gave up and just ordered a new lower J skirting and as I found out it was just as cheap as buying the paint and having the panel prepped and painted...

"A Camping World with a collision center can do the same thing." A play on words ... most any Camping World I or acquaintences have experienced are in themselves a "collision center" ... a collision between an owners expectations to get something fixed and what awaits him when he goes in to pick up his RV. Sorry I just couldn't keep it zipped .... insanely bad experiences are hard to clear out of ones head.

Yep that's a problem. Finally solved it by taking the part I needed to match to a Wesco paint store. They do all the professional paints. Our 2013 Big Sky is a Black and Tan. It actually has 4 colors: a white. a bronze, a tan and a black mist. The original paint was made byBSF Diamont but is not easy to get. Wesco recommended Pittsburg Paint. All of these are a base color coat and usually 2 coats of clear. It worked great but isn't cheap. A pint of this paint costs about $100.00 and you also need the matching reducer, clear coat urethane and hardener. It is easy to mix and can be brushed or sprayed. I've used an air brush with great success. It takes little playing to get the mix to correct viscosity but has an amazing result. Make sure to clean the area up with the reducer before you spray. It also keeps well tightly sealed and stored in a cool dark place. Check the hot rod sites and You Tube for how to do. Go for it!
