Apple WHAT??

We are having outstanding weather in lower Michigan, crisp, clear skies, temps in the mid 70's, the colors are starting to pop, saw some wonderfully bright and stunning red maples in full color yesterday.

Today, we are off to the APPLEUMPKIN festival in Tecumseh. Read all about it:

http://www.downtowntecumseh.com/down...ppleumpkin.htm

Never heard of an appleumpkin?? We had not either, till we moved out here.

And, the apple delights served out at the orchards, well, do we hear moans and groans? YES, we do.

Wow! Seems like this would be a great time to be in Michigan. Sorry we won't be able to make it this year.

September and October are very hard to top when it comes to weather and color, that is for sure.

We had dinner outside at one of Tecumseh's best restaurants, laughing and teasing and have a good ole time! The food was so good between laughs you heard lots of yums and ooooo, and ahhhhhs, and wows!

Thanks Carol for sharing this. Maybe someday we can make it up there for this.

Hi Carol - We're in Ohio, Amish Country, and also enjoying wonderful weather. Coming from the Keys we love the cool weather, changing leaves and wonderful food of Ohio. We tease and say we're eating our way across Ohio! Had a great visit with 8 high school friends that I hadn't seen in 25 years! It was great meeting you and looking forward to next year!

We have a "Pumpcabbage" festival near us. Have to admit that it does not sound as appetizing as Pumpapple, but I think it involves Ukranian Cabbage Rolls among other things.

The Great Lakes area seems to be enjoying a wonderful fall season. Last weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving weekend and the weather was superb.

We hope everyone is enjoying this glorious season.
