We have air bags on our dually many do. They are used to get the truck/RV perfectly level .We had them on both our duallies. BTW that 75 gallons of Diesel weighs 562.5 lbs+ weight of tank. hope the CC is good. The pin weight on our 13 3402 is 3000lbs so you have got 3562.5 lbs not counting hitch and other stuff.

I might add air bags. I'm gonna wait and see how it all rides first. They will do grey I'm sure to keep everything level.

I've had air bags on my last two trucks. When I bought the Ford nobody made an airbag kit to fit so I ended up buying SumoSprings (basically Timbrens). The unloaded ride is 100% stock, loaded ride is comparable to bags but maybe a tiny bit stiffer. For the Monty I'm perfectly happy but I also have a Truck Camper that outweights the Monty's Pin weight by a long shot. Jury is still out for that application.

Installing airbags has been one of my better decisions. Well worth the money

Our 08 is heavy duty front and rear ordered it that way Snow plow package up front and Camper package in the rear. It has a 13K GVW. With that and the airbags it rides.. well like a truck very stiff. We purchased it to tow a heavy Montana not to drive to the supermarket. The Montana is behind it 95 % + of the time.

I have 2012 F350 DRW and pull '15 3611 Monty. I am going to add air bags this spring but am also interested in adding on board compressor with tank so I can have air handy if I (anyone) needs it. Does any one have a setup like that and what are your thoughts and advise? Having trouble locating someone to install this setup. Air bags I can get installed in lots of shops but compressor setup is where I am having trouble finding installer.

Oh, and BTW, I will be getting a set of GY 614's put on our Monty this month. Should be set up pretty good then. Tired of blowouts (on last SOB) rig. Moving up, I hope.

Do not have a compressor and no need for us. Have an inverter hard wired on the truck, if I need to use my AC air compressor. Lose 2-3 lbs a month, left and right bags stay level.

I know a lot of people that do the same, install the airbags and keep a small compressor if they need to add air. They pretty much just use the air bags when towing. The on board compressor is not tough they make packages now that are pretty straight forward to install. If I get them, I will probably just go without the compressor and add air as needed. I travel a lot with the camper, but I'm not a full timer, and when I'm not pulling the camper or the boat, I don't need the airbags.

For those with air bags, when you are staying somewhere more than a day or two, do you lower the air pressure for general driving and sightseeing? Or do you leave them at towing pressure?

Pete if you can afford the onboard compressor I would get it as it will make your adjustment of the amount of air in the bags extremely easy. It also can be used to adjust on the fly if your tanks are full verse empty. Also very nice to be able to adjust while fighting wind etc. if you drive solo you can release air, if you go to the hardware store and load your truck up with something heavy you can instantly adjust the bags to what ever pressure you need. I don't have the on board compressor on my rig but when I buy my new tow vehicle it will be an expense that I am willing to pay.

Thanks Tom.

I also monitor the Ford 6.7 SD forum and have seen pictures of a couple of very neatly installed set ups there but have had no luck in finding installer locally. May have to inquire on that forum about installer in Texas...might get lucky. They had pressure gauges for each bag and for the tank also.
