Bargman Breakaway Switch Wiring

Hi Guys and Gals,

I had to reroute my breakaway switch wiring and screwed up.

When removing the two black switch wires from the 2 bundles of wires secured with wire nuts, I put painters tape on a bundle and on the switch wire that was hooked to it, thinking that when it's time to put them back together, tape goes to tape.

When moving the switch wires, I accidentally pulled the tape of the switch wire, now I do not know which wire goes where.

The switch has 2 black wires upper and lower. One bundle has two black wires, the other bundle has a light blue and a black wire. If anyone has an idea on which switch wire, upper or lower, goes to what bundle, I would be forever thankful.

Or perhaps, there is a way to test the wires? Hit the brakes and the wire that gets voltage gets the upper or lower switch wire for example.

Thanks in advance.

In the battery compartment you will find a blue wire going to one of the red self resetting circuit breakers. This is the brake 12vdc power wire (hot).
You will need a multimeter to figure out which wire is the other end at the brake away switch.
Here's a wiring diagram for trailers

I ALWAYS take a pic before disconnecting any wiring I want to reattach.
