Custom Built 5th Wheels
A recent post mentioned that New Horizon will custom build a 5th wheel. This caught my interest and would like to find out more about it. Does anyone have an website or telephone number that they can provide me. Any information will help.
Thank you,

I was camped next to an older couple that had a brand spanking new "New Horizon"They invited us in to see it and it was beautiful.I believe they told me it cost 90 grand. The next night it rained cats and dogs and he was having leakage from one of his slides.he told me thats the first problem hes had with it so far.It was a well built rig thats for sure.I can`t remember what he was pulling it with, but it wasn`t a 1 ton truck,a lot bigger.he said they are heavy units.

I confirm with Harleyrider about the weight...and the price...these do not pull with a 1 ton truck...As I recall the price was even higher..I did not keep the brochure to relay the price because it was a "not in this lifetime price" I threw it away...

Quality generally cost more. This is one reason they get a 5-Star rating each year by the RV Consumer Group. They are built for fulltime use. Heavy, yes, but there are no staples or compressed particleboard in them. The frames are tubular steel and all the cabinets are custom made from solid wood. Depending on which options you decide to get, a 30 foot fifth could go in the $90K range, but it would be packed with every imaginable item and then some. Just the standard features are impressive and new innovations occur every year. If you are ever on I-70 in Kansas, take exit 295 south for one block and turn on to Mid America Drive and get a "no pressure" tour. We love our unit and would do it again if the need ever arises.
