You are right, the lead trailer is a tri axle with a fifth wheel right at the rear. A total of 8 axles in this configuration is what is called a Super B in Canada. With a full load we weigh 63,500 kgs (140,000 lbs). Driving in the snow doesn't bother me at all since I've done it all my life.
