this is our 4th rig, i always change out the water pump to a higher GPM as the wife has long hair and it rinses out easier. I went to look at the new one and removed the access panel and found this

what has happend to craftsmanship?

All I can say is WOW!! I can't even see the water pump. Looks like I have something else to check. Hope you get it figured out. There is NO excuse for workmanship (or lack of) like this.

When we bought ours nearly two years ago we spent a few nights at dealership. I told service manager that the water pump had WAY too much vibration and he would have to do SOMETHING to fix it. He removed a section of the basement wall and it looks just like Team Bradfield's pic. I could not believe it. They just connected everything and to Hell with organization much less vibration. He said "where do I start with this mess?" I did not want to spend anymore time there so just told him to button it up. They would have done more damage than good, I figured. Still have vibration. Looked like a bucket of worms in there! May try to tackle that problem later...not sure where to start.

I guess zip ties are out of Keystone's budget.
HF has zip ties 100pcs for 1.99 retail.

I purchased a 2017 Montana HC 370BR new in May. I wanted all names, model and serial numbers off as much as I could get for my records. I too took the panels off and found a mess, but not as much as the photo above. However, I kinda expected it. With record breaking sales in the RV business they seem to care a lot more about production than craftsmanship. I did somewhat clean it up and vacuumed up the debris.

That is just unbelievable. Mine is no where that bad. Of course it is a 2012, but still.

Guess we know what you'll be doing for the next little while. While you're at you might want to block some of those openings where you can see into the underbelly.

Thanks for the heads up team Bradfield. We are picking up a new 2017 3950BR on Thursday. I will make that part of the PDI.

I was really upset at ours as well. It was really a shock seeing it this way as both of our Sandpipers were very organized underneath. But I guess with them building 22 a day, you have to save time somewhere

Kind a makes one sick to the stomach, considering how much we pay for a "Luxury" 5th wheel. We owned 2 Cardinals and a Mountaineer before this unit. They were a very organized and neat. I did rearrange the plumbing in the 2012 Cardinal to make room for the larger pump. I have a PEX tool, so it was pretty easy.

I don't know where to start with this disaster, sure hope we don't spring a leak

Throw them together, zero sense in pride of workmanship, seen this in new home construction many times. What the customer can't see can't hurt them. Make them pretty on the outside... put lipstick on the pig and sell it.

I wouldn't worry about a leak as much as a fire, with that romex pulled so tight across that metal clamp. Down toward the bottom left of your picture.

This is what you get spending extra for the Legacy model?

I hate to say it but ~~ my 2016 Cougar 303 RLS was put together better than my new Montana. The person with the nail gun putting up trim in the new coach should not even be permitted near a hammer and they give the idiot a nail gun.

That`s all well and good but you need to have some on the line that knows what they are for and how to use them, this is were the problem starts.

The Amish craftsmen would not be able to figure out how they work.

It would be nice if they would at least vacuum up the dust and wood chips after drilling holes. That seems to me to be a potential fire hazard. At least do some cleanup before enclosing these areas. It is pretty disgusting the way they are assembled.
