DECALS REVISITED - no help from Montana

Hi...

I posted in another thread about our decal problems, with the hope that someone could give us contact info at Montana. We were told that Cindy at Montana had provided replacements at no charge, due to the poor quality of the originals, which are cracking and peeling on our 2006 2955RL.

We contacted Cindy, and she said that they were not replacing the decals any more, and referred me to Burlington Graphics. They quoted me $1200.00 for a replacement set.

Soooo..... Bottom line is that Montana will not replace the shoddy graphics, and those few of you who got the replacements are lucky.

Any further info would be appreciated. Since I am no longer tied to the Montana graphics, alternatives would be appreciated.

Thanks

they probably heard a lot of complaints and figured they better get out of the business quick.

At the fall rally, I had the Keystone representatives look at shrinking and peeling graphics on my 2005 2955RL. I received an e-mail stating that they were no longer available and I would have to contact Burlington graphics.

Shop around in your area. There is a fellow here (StCatharines ON)who can duplicate the graphics after photographing them. He then installs them including applying a transparent tape around the edges which reduces the tendency to peel. His price was much less than what was quoted by Keystone.

No, I was going to replace them with 210 0r 2011 graphics because I figured 2006 graphics were going to be hard to get but the keystone rep said the 2006 graphics could be had. Have heard nothing since.

Thanks for all the replies so far. I'd rather not go naked (besides, it gets cold here in Colorado!) I'll check on the graphics duplication, I hadn't heard of that.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated, too.

If you go to Burlington's web-site, they detail the priced for individual graphics. If only a couple need replaced, I would think the price would be substantially less than a complete set. just a thought....
