Here's the latest. Apparently all of the Sam's Club in a particular area order their inventory from the same warehouse. The warehouse for our area (60 mile radius) does not carry the G614 at all. Thanks to Dave who sent me a pm, I called CW again and directed them to their 2011 Master Catalog which had a sale on the G614 out the door at 329.99 ea including lifetime tire rotation, disposal fee and pressure checks. That looks like the best local price for me. Thanks Dave

Good choice on the G614, there is no doubt that many have success with an E rated LT tire on there 7K axles., but going down in rating from 3520 which was my rating on my 2008 3400 RL OEM tires to 3042 IMHO is not the way to go, and I would not recommend it to anyone. So again good choice on tires, and IMHO the only way to go with our size, and weight of fifth wheels providing the wheels are rated for 110 psi

When I got my 614's at Sam's, they said they could not get them either. I e-mailed corporate and got the special order number, provided it to the local Sam's Club, and presto, they managed to get the tires there, amazing what a little persistance will do.

PSFORD99: I have to agree. The G614 is a more expensive tire, but when I thought about it, it's worth the piece of mind to me. I was happy to see when I got under the Monty that the wheels were stamped 110psi. Know anybody who wants to buy 4 brand new GY Marathons, made in china? LOL.
