Yes, that's what I think too, so will check to be sure on the first fill. With that said, I am confident there is an increase because I never told the computer I was putting it in and covered my actions so it couldn't see I what I was up to. Blackops.

I have used Diesel Kleen from Walmart sporadically over the past four years. Have not really paid attention to my mileage with and without it. However, on our 1400+ mile trip (not towing) from FL to MI this past Dec, I did indeed notice a big jump in mileage (for a diesel). Normally around 18mpg. However, the first 700 mile leg averaged 21.5 mpg and the second 700 mile leg averaged 19.8 mpg. I just realized that I had used the Diesel Kleen for that north bound trip only...

BTW, that is a 2002 Duramax with 170,000 miles on it.

I am not getting better milage with it, 10.3 not towing, city driving, think something is wrong with mine.

Having said that, we live in the mountains of Western NC. On flat land like GA or FL I can get 18-20 @ 65 mph not towing.

Have been using diesel kleen, from wally world or truck stops for the past 9 years and 133,950 towing. On those times we ran out (hey, it does happen) the fuel economy does take a hit. I am used to 20 mph empty and 12.5 towing the 3400rl. We had previous trailers with similiar results. Is this good bad or otherwise, I don't know but 20 beats 17.5 and 12.5 beats the heck out of 9.8 proved to me over quite a few years.
