Filed to Adopt a Big Sky

Well, after talking about it for two years, we filed the papers today to adopt a 2010 Big Sky. With the big credit crunch, nothing is a certainty anymore. We should know by noon tomorrow. Given the economy, I hope everything works out for the best.

Good luck on the new rig. Hopefully the finance guys will come around. After the week the DOW & Financial markets had last week they started calling me the day before we were scheduled to pick up trying to get a bigger deposit out of me. I told them what it would take and they were not willing to do it. After talking to my salesman he said when the news on Wall Street got real bad last week the finance company was making all new deals put down at least 20%. They were also trying to get the deals they had already signed off on (like ours) but not completed to also do 20% down but they were not killing the deals. I was willing to do 20% but I wanted them to give up a few points. After running the numbers the 20% was earning more in my pocket than what it was saving me on payments per year.

So hopefully they are feeling better on the finance side considering the week the DOW is having.

We have thoroughly enjoyed both of the Big Skys we have owned. I hope it exceeds your expectations.

Thanks Stiles. Exav8tr, it is the 365,painted graphic, with most of the options. We ordered in Aspen Forest. We will miss our 3400. It's been a good unit. The last thing I ever thought to worry about was financing. We'll know by noon.

Well, it's official. Financing approved (phew!!!!) This is the first time we have ever ordered something direct from the factory. We are really excited and can hardly wait for our new unit to be built. We might go over for the birthday. So, we ordered the 2010 365RQ Big Sky, side awning package, Painted Graphics, Leather seating, Queen Bed, wireless backup camera, 19" LCD in the bedroom, garden tub, Mor Ryde Pin Box and the Winegard travler Ka/Ku Satellite dish. Of course, we ordered the Big Sky Value, Premium and Hickory edition packages as well. We will miss our 3400RL. We certainly had some great times in it. Hopefully, our new unit will be as trouble free as our last.
