closed on our house today

Closed on our house today. Everything went as planned. Been living in our 5th wheel for over a month now. Put some things in storage, gave some away. Enjoying the full time RVing. Spending winter in AZ and summer in mountains of Colorado and other places.

I think we sold our house just in time. They are looking for houses to drop in value more in Colorado and banks are not lending any money but buyer of our house had a VA loan so that went well. FHA and VA loans are the only ones going through around here now.

Would like to full time also. Here in MI. where we live I would have to give our house away and I am not sure I could still find any takers. Have lots of fun without the house on your back and no taxes.

Thanks all.
We did come down on the price of our house but we are still OK. Buyers got a great deal, and so did we.

Dusty,
Good for you. Happy to hear you can live a dream.

DW want's a stick house to come back to once in a while. We'll see after we do some major traveling. Just don't know what I'd do with all the junk. Now don't say throw it away - it took to many years to collect!!!

Waynem, we stored a lot of our stuff. Gave away a lot of furniture. Stored things we can't do without. Wish we had got rid of everything. It is hard to do but we are doing what we thought was best at this time. Have a large storage crammed full!
We may end up selling a lot of stuff someday. Or giving it away. We gave away our lawn tractor, table saw and lots and lots of other stuff.
Storage doesn't cost much and is secure. So far have not seen mice in there. Had some stuff stored last winter there.
We are long timers and have traveled for several months at a time over the years, so I don't think things will change much for us.
