We have a 7 year SERVICE CONTRACT" through RV Shield.. We paid 1,014.00, 50.00 deductible. These are NOT Extended Warranties on the RV's. They are not bumper to bumper. Our contract which we reviewed BEFORE we purchased Explicitly details "exclusions" Normal wear and tear is NOT covered.I do not know of a Extended Warranty or Service Contract that covers ..normal wear and tear. Acts of God are not covered, anything that is covered by your normal vendor or manufacturers Warranty or your RV insurance policy is NOT covered. Rv Shield is simple,,If it is NOT stated in Exclusions..it IS covered. One must understand that these are NOT extended Warranties but "service Contracts"One must read and understand the contents of the service contract even if that requires a Attorney review it, we did that. All Insurance policies, Extended warranties, Service Contracts, Etc are extremely profitable.. They rely on "probabilities" and the probability that any Individual will never use the policy, whatever it is, is in their favor. We also rely on probabilities and we feel the probability that we will over a 7 year period have a covered expense of over 1,014.00 in a Rv, as dependible as they are,(right) is in our favor..cost vs benefits.
