I guess we're in the "suffering" group with you, but not quite as cold as you.
Here in McGregor Ontario (about 15-20 minutes outside of Windsor), it's been cold and windy with a bit of snow and sleet Sunday night.
Snow flurries and a few snow showers predicted for today, tonight and tomorrow.
Temp has been in the mid 30s during the day and mid to high 20's at night. Winds between 20 to 40 mph.
Stay warm!!

Ditto on suffering. I am NOT looking at the temps, but it is cold, the snow/sleet stuff did not melt, and is not about to. Have about 1/2 inch of the white stuff out there. Pond is frozen now, up till a few days ago it was still water, not ice. Later today they say even colder, as JB's wind gets here.

I will be thinking of you today. It is 3 degrees in Marquez......but that is Celsius. Gonna get to 17 (around 55), comfy short sleeve weather with low humidity.

Fortunately there are some of us (myself included) who love all kinds of weather. Summer for the beach, winter for skiing and sledding, fall for the football, spring for the anticipation of summer (well almost all kinds of weather....). We do limit camping to above 20 degrees though!!!!!

Well, the cold has started it march out of the arctic - looks like with a vengeance. Still November, you know...
It is supposed to reach us here in Central FL by Tues or Wed next week. Highs only in the upper 60's. Yes, this is a cold front... Mid 80s right now.
My son in Yorkton, Saskatchewan is currently at -4 F.
How bad is it?
US Temps
And this is what happens when this cold air rushes into our snowbelt hometown of Bellaire. This will be on top of the 10 inches they just received yesterday with 50 mph winds:
Quote:
quote:1027 PM EST Wed Nov 28 2007
...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM EST
Thursday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM EST Thursday.
Snow showers will develop during the pre-dawn hours across the
warning area...and continue through the day Thursday. Gusty west
winds will also result in considerable blowing and drifting snow.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected to develop across the
region by Thursday morning. Visibilities in the snow and blowing
snow will be reduced at times to less than one quarter of a mile.
By late Thursday...from 6 to locally 10 inches of new snow can be
expected.
A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather is expected or
occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel
very hazardous.

Well in Ft Wayne, In it is now 29 F at 1:00 pm. It was down to 19 last night. If we could we would go south for the winter. We will be down in La in March for a retiree rally. Will probably spend a month down south. Spring hurry up and get here.

I consider anything below 70° freezing. I don't know what today's high was, but around 5 p.m., DW turned the central air on. We just had new double pane, argon filled windows installed, and today was the install of removable storm shutters. Had to keep the windows closed because of all the red brick dust.
Right now it is 63°, with 73° tomorrow and 76° Saturday, and 79° Sunday. Makes me want to go get Hanna out of the stable and head North. All next week is low 70's to a few high 60's.
I guess if it gets much colder we'll have to head on down to a more southerly place in Texas.

Temps are here in the 20's and supposed to get freezing rain tonight and through the weekend. Staying warm is a challenge but one we're dealing with. So far, no problems but keeping fingers crossed.

Well here in Omaha it is +22 and only have a 3 MPH wind so it's pretty nice out! They have just cancelled our Winter Storm Watch but have issued an Ice Storm Warning effective 3 AM to 3 PM tomarrow! Just what we wanted! I can handle the snow and winds but when it's ice on the roads and power lines, it is not fun anymore! Guess I'd better go out and get more gas for my generator just incase and maybe bring some more wood up for the fireplace! Have a gas stove down the basement so can cook on it if need be and the heat from the fireplace will keep us warm for a while if we loose power for the furnace! Enjoy the warm weather down there in FL, GA, TX, AZ, NM and all points SOUTH!!!
