I had to look so here is by far the most information I have ever found on trailer tires. Kudo's to Discount Tires for this. Betcha it is in the links already though.

The tires that are on MY trailer speak for me. They are LT235/85R16E Bridgestone Commercial Light Truck tires.

Well I went with the 265's for my truck this time. Called for 245's but I wanted to increase the weight rating for the two rears. I have heard that my tranny will shift differently and my speed will be off. Can someone explain what this REALLY means to me. I have had them for two weeks and don't notice any difference in the tranny. Hopefully, it is not something harmful.......Please advise Will Robinson.......

I have been reading this forum for about a year and a half now and gained a considerable amount of knowledge and help.My concern now is "MISSION TIRES".I am a long timer getting ready to head south from NY after Xmas for the second year.So far I haven't had a tire problem but I do check tire pressure and I'm going to purchase a infrared temperature dodads and I also make short trips no longer than 400 miles in one day.
I'm wondering why a class action suit hasn't been brought against this situation yet with all of the damage that has been done because of these tires not to mention of a possible fatality.
With regards to Chinese tires and safety they can't even make safe toys
