Exhaust Brake Install

Have any of you guys self installed an exhaust brake on your truck? I am considering installing one on our's before going to Pigeon Forge in Oct. I am trying to decide if this is a project I want to tackle or have a pro do it. Going to get the Jacobs unit (only one Dodge will honor warranty with). Experience or advice appreciated.
