Ask Vickir about being "in the closet" :)

Someone please ask Vickir what it's like to be in the closet and then closing the door. And why!

Well, Vicki asked me to explain it so here goes... She was playing with one of our granddaughters who asked Vicki to come in the closet with her to see how the lights on her new sandals light up. Then close the door. Those doors latch and there is no way to get them open from inside. I gather it is rather dark in there with the door locked, even with lights on the sandals..

Those with grandkids and kids (large and small) who want to play in the closet might want to be aware of this...

Steve,

Did you get hit in the head with a frying pan when she got out?

Steve and Vicki are on the road, driving to Glacier/Montana. I'm sure he'll respond when he gets a connection.

I just happened on this one. I see Steve has still not responded? Or maybe I just missed it somewhere? Anyway Vicki, I have lots of sympathy for you, as my grandbabies are often getting me in some kind of fix or another. But... ain't it great fun!!!

OK, OK, we've landed for a couple of days and have internet again. We were in locations where either they had no internet connection or it was a central hookup and we just didn't bother. Anyhow, Vicki says it was somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes. I was at the aft end of the Montana, the TV was on, I was doing computer things and didn't hear her. However, she was in the closet with one of our granddaugters. Our daughter-in-law was also here and heard her yelling and went upstairs and let her out. That could have been a bad situation had nobody but Vicki and Nora been home! I bet she never does that again though!

Sounds like a safety hazard. Those latches should have some way of releasing from the inside. If the right attorney got a hold of that Vicki could be rich. Glad to hear everone was ok. Imagine a small child soing this on there own. Parents are outside, around a campfire telling stories to the neighbors. Not trying to blow this all out of proportion, but look at what kind of trauma that would have to a small child being stuck in there for a short time.

Fordzilla, I think your point is well taken. I think I'll post something in the what I'd say to Keystone section.

Steve: I just read your post to Keystone. I started laughing (again). Now that you have met the guys at the factory can't you just imagine what they are saying to each other about Vicki getting locked in.
